She also offers prolotherapy injections which is a regenerative injection therapy designed to stimulate the body’s natural healing response in injured ligaments, tendons, and joints. Often used for chronic joint pain, instability, or injuries that have not fully healed. A consultation with Dr. Christl will determine if this treatment is appropriate for your condition.

Dr. Christl is a Traditional Naturopath, Family Nurse Practitioner, Functional Medicine Provider, Public Speaker, and Educator. She studied Alternative Medicine since 1988 and Functional Medicine since 2005. She has earned her PhD in Natural Health and Doctor of Naturopathy from Clayton College of Natural Health, her Bachelor of Nursing at Regis University, and her Master of Nursing at CU Anschutz. She completed numerous hours of post graduate studies in Functional Medicine through the Institute of Functional Medicine, Apex Energetics, and Designs for Health. She is board certified through American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPBC), American Naturopathic Certification Board (ANCB), and American Association of Drugless Practitioners (ADP), and is pursuing certification through the Institute of Functional Medicine. Dr. Christl is licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA). Dr. Colleen is a small-town Canadian who for her whole life has had a passion for health, wellness, human movement and sports. She actively participated in hockey, volleyball, golf and soccer growing up. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Honours Health Studies at the University of Waterloo where she also worked at multiple health centers and pharmacies. Witnessing the side effects related to polypharmacy lead Dr. Colleen to pursue a career in holistic medicine.

She then moved to Portland, Oregon to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the University of Western States. While she was there she was on the Executive Board of the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA), was Vice-President of the Student Canadian Chiropractic Association (SCCA), and was an active member of many clubs including Motion Palpation Institute and Rehab 2 Performance. Dr. Colleen has Part A and B certifications with the McKenzie institute.
